Description
Ethiopian opal shines in a vintage style gold fill and silver setting. Mixed metal is a recurring theme in my designs along with gold filled stacking rings as an optional add-on. The opal ring is on a square flourish-patterned band with a 14/20k gold fill setting. Stacking rings are in a hammered 14/20k gold fill.
ABOUT GOLD FILL — Gold filled means it is an actual layer of gold that is pressure bonded to another metal, usually brass. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.
